The 2013 Heroes Curing Childhood Cancer Gala was an incredible success- raising more than $785,000 to establish the Dream Clinic in Oncology at Children’s National Medical Center.

The mission of the Dream Clinic is to revolutionize the patient experience so every patient and family facing a cancer diagnosis is surrounded by a comforting and supportive environment. By enhancing the patient services available and implementing time-saving processes, we can reduce the anxiety of each visit to the hospital and therefore encourage healing. The Dream Clinic will allow every child with cancer the chance to “live the dream” by receiving the best possible care and treatment at a time when it matters most.
